Holiday Challenge Kick Off!!!

It’s finally here the first day of the Holiday Bootie Buster Challenge 2012! Literally from the day it ends I start getting HBBC2012-Option2questions about the next year, so I am thrilled that it’s finally here and no doubt we all need the support with Thanksgiving on Thursday and cold weather knocking on the door (ok maybe not for me).

Speaking of Turkey Day, don’t forget that this week you can earn extra points. Yes, I will bribe you every which way to find ways to get moving and make no excuses to reach your goals.

One of my favorite quotes from a past participant:

Hey all. I’m a single mom of a 7 year old girl. I’ve spent time the last couple years getting healthier & am running my first half 12/9. I did HBBC last year and ended up losing about 16 lbs over the holidays. Definitely happy to be doing it again! Have fun with it! – Rachel

The first workout of the week video has been posted and I need your feedback! The goal of these short workouts is to ensure that no matter your travel schedule, cooking schedule or sick family you have some quick and easy go to moves for the week. They are all designed to be done with limited space and needing only your body weight.

You’ll earn a point each week that you watch a video and leave a comment after you’ve done the exercises. Let me know if you want to see a focus on certain areas or even want to see the videos differently!

The first Workout Of the Week video is posted!

Our first Tweet Chat is tomorrow, Nov 20, at 9PM EST. Using the #bestfoot, I’ll be available to answer any questions about the challenge and give everyone a chance to introduce themselves! If you’ve never participated in a chat before I recommend using You can put in the #bestfoot and it will then show you all tweets for that subject and tag anything you post from there with the hashtag as well.bestfootchallenge
I might just have a special prize for one participant….ok I DO have a prize!!

I am grateful for the amazing man who I call my father. He is a kind, caring, patient, witty man that has taught me to be fearless. Today we celebrate his birthday…together or apart it’s a wonderful day.
