RW Heartbreak Hill Discount Codes – a Second Hat Trick

0shares

After finishing Best Damn Half Orlando I was pumped and ready to keep pursuing more half marathon PR’s…after a few runs in the humidity I have realized once again that FL may keep me modest over the summer where I will be building miles.

To keep my running fire stoked, I’m heading to the Runner’s World Heart Break Hill Half and Festival in Boston. My PR brain would like to go for it, but sans the addition of hills to FL it probably won’t happen, instead I am going to do the Hat Trick: 5K, 10K and Half Marathon.
RWLogoI loved the Hat Trick at the original RW event and figured it’s just more chances to see Boston! It’s unlikely 2014 would be my BQ year, so this might be as close as I get to the fabled course.

RUNNER’S WORLD EVENTS
I was lucky to attend the first ever Runner’s World Festival in 2012, held in their hometown of Bethlehem, PA. I can tell you that this is not just a race, it’s an EVENT. Speakers, running along side idols {hello Dean and Bart!}, it’s chatting with fellow runnerds, it’s Tweet ups and meet ups and in this case a chance to explore Boston!
RW Half Marathon Discount
HIGHLIGHTS:

  • 5K, 10K on Saturday {run one or both!}
  • Half Marathon on Sunday  {I’ll be running the Hat Trick, which is all 3 races}
  • speaker Sarah Reinersten {super inspiring}
  • meeting up and dining with Runner’s World editors {David Wiley, Bart Yasso, Kristin Armstrong, and Marc Parent}
  • clinics and seminars on everything from footwear to gear to fueling and more
  • kids race
  • bonding with running buddies
  • experience the fabled Heartbreak Hill {without 26.2 miles}
  • thus being inspired to come back and experience it inside 26.2 miles
  • running movies
  • celebratory post-race party with live music

You will leave this weekend feeling inspired and energized to run through the summer.
