In the last few months, I’ve started to talk more about running again. In many cases my runs have been tough or my body hasn’t cooperated, but it really hasn’t mattered because I am so happy to be out there. Because running is such an integral part of my daily life, I often forget to really talk about it because I think it’s going to bore people…but it doesn’t bore me and I’m thrilled that people have been popping up like crazy to say that my sincere smiles are encouraging them to try something new too.
SAY CHEESE YOU’RE RUNNING!!!
How lucky am I to have found something that can make me smile like a fool any given day of the week.
Last week I was working an event with Meghann and she made my day by mentioning that my Runner’s World posts were so genuine it truly showed that I love this sport, regardless of whether or not I ever win a race. I think my heart grew three sizes (holiday movies shouldn’t be on tv already).
Then Zooma Run posted a great video asking a variety of women “Why Do you Run?” I really loved it and couldn’t wait to share for probably the 8000th time why I run because if there is one running question that we get more than any other that has to be it! Followed shortly there after by something like “do you pee your pants?”.
Would love to hear why do you run? Does it make you smile that big?
You know the other thing that makes me happy…David!!! Today is his birthday and I am so grateful to be celebrating it with him once again.
