Green smoothies and I are long time friends…I’m going to miss them this week on vacation in Iceland, so to get me pumped to return home and blend up some amazing nutrition I give you a guest post of beautiful smoothies from Philosophie.
It’s time to break free of your standard green smoothie and get some added benefits from blending in new ingredients! POST-WORKOUT DRAGONFRUIT POWER SMOOTHIE
- coconut milk
- frozen pineapple
- 2 tablespoons Berry Bliss Superfood + Protein Blend
- 2 tablespoons Green Dream Superfood + Protein Blend
- 1 mango
- 1/2 Pitaya Plus Dragon Fruit pack
- handful of spinach
- handful of frozen dark cherries
CRAVING KILLER COCONUT KEFIR KALE SMOOTHIE
- 8 ounces coconut water with aloe (optional) from Trader Joe’s
- 2-4 ounces coconut kefir
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- 1 handful fresh kale, de-stemmed
- 1 tablespoon Green Bee Manuka Honey
- 1 tablespoon Green Dream Superfood + Protein Powder
- optional – 1 frozen banana if you’d like it more ice cream-like + sweeter!
- optional – 1 handful ice
AUTUMN ROOT VEGETABLE SMOOTHIE
- 4 oz carrot juice (buy it organic pre-juiced or juice it at home if you have a juicer)
- 4 oz almond milk
- 3-5 pitted dates, depending on size
- ½ sweet potato, cut into cubes
- ½ avocado
- 1 tbsp coconut butter or ½ tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
- handful of ice
- optional extra agave or stevia if more sweetness is desired :)
