Traveling is one of life’s great pleasures, when I found that I could combine seeing the world with being active I knew there was only one option…get after it!
Each year I work with companies to visit new places and also plan plenty of trips on my own.Vacation isn’t an excuse for being lazy and weight gain, it’s an opportunity to explore! There is no better way to take in a new city than from your own two feet! This page has now been divided in to a few sections to help you find what you most need!
There’s: fitness retreats, active vacation ideas, Colorado travel (hey living here we’ve done a lot), Florida travel (because we used to live there!) and travel tips! I actually spent three years as a travel writer, so hopefully all of these are useful to you! As always if there are things missing, let me know what else you’re looking for so I can ensure I include it.
FITNESS AND WELLNESS RETREATS
Are you ready to take advantage of the growing wellness vacation trend? It’s your chance to get away from it all, focus on yourself and in many cases connect with others who share our running passion.
ACTIVE TRAVEL IDEAS
Trips are listed from most recent to oldest (which means the stories and photos are better now ha!) and inside each there are links to any additional posts about that trip.
Colorado Travel Ideas
Since moving to Colorado in 2015, we’ve spent nearly every weekend exploring a new trail or a new area. This state has so much to offer, you could see something new every weekend!
South Florida Travel Ideas
Living in Miami from 2010-2013, then Orlando starting in 2013 provided me with ample opportunities to get out and enjoy the sunshine state. Here are some references for those looking for things to do in Miami, Orlando and the Keys:
