For a long time now I have shared my weekly workouts…some was for accountability, but mostly it was to answer questions about what I do and share my random adventures in running, yoga and life. I started to realize that what I really need is a post each week to share the things I want to be held accountable for like filling my body with food that FEELS good, meditating and giving stress the old heave ho.
Why Monday? The weekends are often a slack off period for many people in their healthy habits. Unfortunately that means almost 30% of each week you aren’t moving towards your goals! Hence making Mondays the accountability day helps to maintain focus through the weekend.
Participate? If you need accountability in some area feel free to join me! This is about giving yourself a place to stand up and cheer when you follow through and well a place to question you when you don’t.

I started the Oprah/Deepak Meditation on March 11th and want to continue sticking to that daily practice. This week I woke up and did it every morning, even while in our hotel room together! Having my DROID DNA made this easier because I swear it has a connection everywhere that is good and then has the Beats Audio so everything was clear.
Additionally, I was inspired by a friend to check out IntenSati. Since we do not have any classes around here I am participating in the online training, which also involves listening to some audio each morning. I am happy to say that is also going well! This week my goal is continue with both each morning.
Write…write…write. I want to hold myself accountable for doing more writing every single day for at least the next two months. That involves sending out more pitches, writing for more sites and being fearless in the process. While writing is certainly a creative process for me, meaning sometimes it flows easier, I have a HUGE list of ideas that simply need to be flushed out. This week I want to be able to say yes daily I finished an idea and sent out an article.
I am grateful for a wonderful weekend of relaxation with my husband. It’s so easy to forget how much we need downtime.
