#BestFoot Challenges are about not waiting for a Monday, a birthday or New Year's to make changes for a better life. We often get caught in a desire for perfection that prevents us from taking small steps each day which will help us reach our goals.
In 2009-2010, I did a series of 30 day challenges starting on my birthday. For me this provided a higher degree of success than any previous resolution or goal because it allowed me to focus on a single change for a finite period (the basis of a habit!).
In 2011 and 2012 I opened these challenges up to my readers and the response was overwhelming. It turns out everyone KNOWS they can do something for just 30 days and loves a challenge with group support.
The 2013 challenges are small, but mighty with the goal of building on the success of each previous month for 12 changes at the end of the year! While it's not as exciting to make 1 little change at a time, it's been proven more successful time and time again. Don't let the idea of something simple like a 5 minute morning habit keep you from participating. These little changes are all about creating the life you want.
