Hash tags might be one of my favorite things on twitter… you can express emotions #overit, #runnershigh, #wishthisguywouldstopsmoking and somehow it has more impact than using the words alone. Hence the reason I’m all about the #OaklePBC. I’ve talked about performing beautifully, but I still found this weekend many ladies haven’t heard of this awesome Oakley Perform Beautifully Campaign or the fact that oh yes Oakley does make women’s clothing.
Whether it’s your first time trying something new or your 800th marathon you can have gear that allows you to perform at your peak, while still looking like the gorgeous woman you are! Hey it worked for Kerri Walsh-Jennnings in London!! That’s right she was sporting an Oakley bikini for the entire event.
“The Oakley Women’s Collection erases the line between form and function to bridge the gap between active and attractive.”
FITBLOGGIN PBC
This weekend I had so much fun catching women who were pushing their limits, busting through excuses that have held them back previously and embracing new experiences…as I caught up with these ladies I traded them a pair of Oakley Overtime sunglasses for a fun photo and their story.
I rolled in with 20 pairs of the Overtime sitting happily in my room and it took only minutes to start finding women who were ready to embrace this weekend! Self confidence was in HIGH supply! FatGirlVsWorld is hard not to notice with her funky style, but what really got my attention was her desire to ensure everyone around her felt comfortable. She totally breaks the ice with laughter!
Fitbloggin planner Roni Noone did quite the head banging act once I told her these sunglasses wouldn’t come off, while MissZippy and ROJ Running took them for an immediate spin on the Jump Sport trampolines! MissZippy didn’t stop there, she busted them out for her 20 mile training run the following morning!!
Jill Hanner and MizFit both proved what I’ve been saying all along…these sunglasses are perfect for yoga! Thanks to the rubber grips they totally stay on in any crazy position. Meanwhile Carly Bananas was willing to work her upper body even a week after thumb surgery to prove she’s strong!
Dani was all smiles and inspiration this week after she hosted her first ever 5K last weekend and had over 40 people show up!!! Talk about motivating those around you! Because of great folks like her Renee flew 7,000 miles to be at Fitbloggin, where she was embraced by the ever friendly Dawn.
Amy was so tired from pushing her limits all weekend, I had her do a calming tree pose with Teresa who was constantly finding her center this weekend as she opened up to meeting all new people! Laura and Amanda also performed beautifully this week by getting in their marathon training runs and working events to help us all embrace health!
All of you who keep asking me how to become an Oakley Ambassador, first up keep your eyes open for the contest in 2013!! Beyond that start interacting with the brand now so they know who you are in advance! It’s so much easier to see an application come in for someone who already loves and talks about your brand.
So there it is!! #OakleyPBC is something I think we all can strive to embrace!
