Recently I followed MizFit’s advice of asking a few people to give me three words that describe RTTF. I was beyond thrilled to see the word PASSION on multiple lists.
I would love your feedback as well, so feel free to leave me your three words! Back to the reason I am so excited about seeing “passion”! Because I do love running and writing and well I just left my job to fully pursue it!
FITBLOGGIN
In fact, I’m so passionate about pursuing your dreams that I was honored to get a last minute speaking slot at Fitbloggin. It’s not something I came to easily, as I was afraid of what it would mean to leave the safety of a career and everything I know, but I’ve always rooted ferociously for my friends who took the leap. What did they have that I didn’t? Turns out I just needed the right push, the right support and the right words.
Don’t get stuck in the endless cycle of continuing for fear of being a “quitter.” After nine years of climbing the corporate ladder, Amanda choose to press pause and say “yes” to the opportunities surrounding her passion. While feeling nervous, excited, exhausted and confused about such a large transition the biggest thing on her mind was how to leave without being a quitter.
OAKLEY
Having an amazing experience at Fitbloggin won’t be hard due to all of the awesome ladies that I will be meeting for the first time or reconnecting with for the umpteenth time…but I wanted to step it up a notch and share another of my passions. Oakley sunglasses. It makes me cringe to see women running in Miami without sunglasses or in their Coach sunglasses. Why?
Because I know that the RIGHT sunglasses protect your eyes from harmful rays, keep that skin around your eyes wrinkle free and ensures when that truck roaring by flips up a rock at your face. I also believe that it’s important to have sunglasses that don’t distort your vision causing you to waste valuable energy at mile 24 or get a headache during that long ride.
SOOOO I am going to be doing some pop up Oakley sunglass swapping with ladies at Fitbloggin who can tell me how they are performing beautifully this weekend or how they will continue to perform beautifully in their new shades. Why? Because performing beautifully combines our love of being strong and confident with embracing that we’re women!
The Overtime sunglasses are what I wear for workouts, hitting the beach, outdoor yoga, the pool or cruising around town! They have the rubber to keep them in place, anti-fog and umm their cute.
Follow me on Twitter to find a pop up or be at my 9AM session on Saturday morning! I’ll have a limited supply!
