Birthday weekend did not disappoint from any angle! I finally had an amazing long run, which helped get me mentally on track for the continued build up in mileage and of course just some amazing time with friends.
This amazing group of women has helped me to finally feel at home in Miami and of course they are all active ladies…so they were totally cool with a 10:30PM curtain call because they had training runs as well!
I still don’t recognize myself, but I am definitely feeling better about the hair cut! Luckily that dinner was followed with one of my best long runs of this training session…then it rained so we hit the moves…seriously it was just all around the best weekend.
AM: 3 miles (27:40), 20 min walk, Strong Like Susan Abs day 7
PM: 3 miles (26:40), 20 min walk, 20 min stretch
-- was trying to do a HR test and needed to get in to a zone, but the first run just didn’t go well.
AM: 5.3 miles (53:40), 20 min walk, 10 min swim, 20 min weights/stretch
-- I wanted to hit 8 miles this morning per the schedule but my energy wasn’t there...maybe from the workouts Monday.
PM: 35 min walk with David
AM: 35 min walk, ZWOW #28, Strong Like Susan Abs Day 9 -- note to self those two are way hard to do together!
PM: 40 min bike easy, weights
I buy A LOT of spinach, kale and other greens to keep up with my salads and smoothies. Because I am ingesting so much I really want it to be organic. Unfortunately when I buy the kind not in a package it seems to wilt and go bad on me within days….then I found these MEGA tubs of Organic Girl baby spinach and tada it stays fresh.
I think part of this is because I don’t have to wash it when I get home. Why? “We always wash our salad greens three times before we put them in a package. That's what "washed3" means on our label.” Find out if they carry it near you?
Organicgirl® uses progressive farming practices to be more environmentally friendly and more sustainable. organicgirl® uses 100% recycled package sourcing - no new materials are used - then if we recycle (and you do right?!) it goes right back to them…what a great cycle.
I really want you to try them out as well, which is why the #eatclean30 role call this week is giving you a chance! Each time you check in on Twitter or Facebook with your daily update you’ll be entered to win free product coupons so that you can keep your clean eating going with Organic Girl.
How is your training going? How is your eat clean journey going?
I am grateful for friends who share photos…so I don’t always have to be that girl who makes you take a second picture with her camera.
