What an awesome challenge! Over 200 of you signed up and the majority stayed with the challenge from start to finish. It seems people fell largely in to the following groups:
Already smoothie drinkers: Realized they weren’t drinking them quite as consistently as they thought
New to Green: Found it tasted wonderful!!
I have to admit that I was probably drinking smoothies 5 days a week, but a bump to 7 has definitely helped to keep my skin clear and my eyes seem so bright. It’s amazing how something that seems so easy can do so much for your body. Did you notice any changes over 30 days? Will you continue with it daily?
Yes I drink from the jug when my cup overflows…there’s no mommy here to tell me not to!
This week I started traveling on Tuesday and won’t be back until Monday…can I just tell you that I MISS MY BLENDER. I can make them other places, but never with all the things I’m tossing in at home. Would love to hear how those of you who traveled handled the challenge? (I know one of you packs a Magic Bullet!!)
Ok so I’ve now talked about my Vitamix 5200 in a few previous posts, but for those who haven’t heard it I am going to extoll it’s virtues one more time because I swear it truly changed my smoothie life, which in turn impacted my health. I’ll do another video to give you a demo soon cause that’s what truly sold me on it.
A friend who makes green smoothies was visiting recently and got to see it in action which made her a believer in the whooping 30 seconds it takes to blend whatever odds and ends you throw in for a smoothie.
I wish I was topping off the challenge with a Vitamix giveaway, but not yet! I do have a free shipping discount if it’s something you are considering.
I have plans for a few more smoothie giveaways/contests in the future to keep everyone motivated! So be thinking through your best recipes and taking pictures!
Don’t forget to sign up for the July Ab Challenge to take advantage of you new clean eating habit!
I am grateful for such first world problems as not having the blender I want available when I travel…yeah I’ve got it pretty good.
