I have big news…someone has been stealing time from me. That’s right at the beginning of last week I was unsure about running the full in Philly (Nov 20) because of being sick over the summer and not being able to truly train…it had not in anyway dawned on me that my A race is now only 60 days away! WHAT?! Cue drums, loud heart beat and fainting spell.
As of right now I plan to run the full in Philly, but entirely for fun and as a training run for the Houston Marathon. This could mean walking at different points or it could mean just running slower than normal.
GOALS
Slow Down - In trying to accomplish so much all at one time, I’m forgetful and make mistakes and feel frazzled. Goal..slow down.

A little slap happy early in the morning
Overall: Fantastic week of both cross training and solid runs. I’ve dropped off on my speed work, so I will need to pick that up again after Philly.
Best Workout: Pilates. I had no idea how much I would love these reformer classes.
Nutrition: Amazed at just how many vegetables I eat every day when I truly track it! Pretty sure my energy is higher because I’m adding in so many and switching up the variety.
iPod: Lots of morning radio shows this week
New thing: Riding my bike trainer, so easy to just hop on and watch a show!
New gear: You might notice those bright purple shoes.. my new K-Swiss Blade light’s. Still a low profile shoe, but feels like it has slightly more cushion than my Saucony Kinvara’s…um or I could have just needed new shoes.
