Talk about a change…after months of just being pooped I was like a rocket ship this week! I couldn’t hardly sleep because I seemed to have boundless energy. Unfortunately my brain still thinks my body should be able to do 17 milers like I used to all the time…however months of not even hitting double digits means it’s going to take a bit to get back to that.
However, you’ll see from this weeks workouts that I certainly did more while feeling great. My legs are tired because they aren’t used to the activity level…but my SPIRIT is on cloud 9!!!
David can’t figure out why I must pose for every picture…but it’s fun!! Here we are before my second run on Sunday, which he so pleasantly took with me! That’s right TWO RUNS…look out I’m coming back!!
SEPT GOALS
Don’t let work overwhelm me - Very proud of myself for saying no. It’s easy to do everything you are asked and feel so proud that you are needed…but when it’s too much, it’s time to learn NO.
Do one thing at a time - Much better.
Keep following doctors orders - What doctor?!
Keep working on filling my body with wholesome nourishing food - I give myself a B- . October is going to be very focused on this.
10 min daily creative writing - Didn’t do as well on this with work travel, but it will be something I maintain
Mini goal - stop cussing! -- Only 1 slip and David totally called me on it, snap!

Overall: I finally have more energy, now I just need my legs to come back. They still feel really heavy. I also wish there had been a little more yoga, but hey I’ll take feeling good!
Best Workout: Running in new places is just so much fun to me. The Trail I stumbled upon in St Louis was wonderful.
Nutrition: I actually did great while traveling by eating lots of salad and egg filled breakfasts…then for some odd reason the day I got home it was like a sweets feast…out of control.
Training Plan: I didn’t get in the solid weight lifting this week, so that will be a focus this week.
iPod: Balanced Bites Podcast and Jillian Michael’s podcast…not sure why but these are just really working for me right now!
New thing: I have been trying 1 new weight lifting exercise each week and finding them at Gabby Reece 360. It definitely makes me feel like I am making progress, just to keep challenging myself
New gear: Endorphin Warrior bracelet - Just totally motivating
