I am super excited for the PR Challenge!! You can still sign up through the beginning of October to have some fun and get a little extra motivation for that Turkey Trot or major race that you are doing!
You are being paired with those closest to your current pace. The goal is to have a bigger PR than those you are competing against… the winner receives a small bundle of love from the other participants…ie. a card, packets of nut butter, your favorite treat from TJ’s. Full details can be found on the PR Challenge rules, along with a sign up form.
Groups will be updated as more people join…so encourage your friends to join! The more folks the smaller the pace range and thus the more motivating to know you are really against someone who is at your exact level…no go run!

12 good vibes:
This is a great idea and I would jump at the chance to participate, but I really need to focus on my running without any time pressure right now, so I'm declining to participate.
Hmmm.. I'm considering it! I most likely would do the 5K, but need to work on my speed a little, as it's suffered some this summer. I'll decide soon :)
FUN! Thanks for organizing!
This is still great idea...I didn't think the timing fit in for me with my current goals but still thinks it's a great challenge. Have fun everyone...I have some new blogs to check out too!
Well, for a possible TJ's thing, I'll surely push harder!
YAY I love this!! Love Bethany too! :)

U R ON!
Question - Have been searching for a race to sign up for, but wondering exactly what you are looking for with "sanctioned time tracking." Does it have to be chip-timed, or can the race just use a time clock? Thanks!
Thanks for organizing this, it's going to be great fun!
HOw fun!! Good luck to everyone, especially to all the lovlies in my marathon group!! ~Alison~
I can't be sure I'll be racing for almost a month and a half so I'm out but HBBC I'll be alllll over that! ;-)
How fun! I would like to join. I have a 5k next month (Sept) and my PR is 28:14. I have my first half mary 10/10 and I'm shooting for sub-2:30. We'll see!
