CAN SHE BEND IN TO SHAPE?-----Turbo Jam
Amanda - RunToFinish
+I definitely think this is a fantastic ab work out. It gets the back muscles and comes from angels that I might not normally do on my own. So far it's a challenging workout which makes me feel like it's got to be doing something! Let's be honest without this challenge I wouldn't have pulled it out and done the workout before getting on my plane this morning.

too late to join in? I just found your blog through Elina's Healthy and Sane blog.
Crap. Haven't done my aero-ab blaster yet. Will do it today. Love my boot camp cause it's harder that hell. Keep comparing it to Jillian and I think mine is harder. Got some work to do!
WOW there's so much going on!!! i am doing the workouts but haven't really changed my food diet, which if i am going to see real results i need to do. i LIKE the workout aspect, but that alone isn't going to get me that sexy sixpack nor will it melt away fat/weight. elliot is LOVING the book and the entire program, for him it's the first time he is really following something like this. he will be the true test i think!!!
I'm not really part of the official challenge, but I'm following along anyway. I've done 3 days of 30 Day Shred, along with parts of Best of Tamilee abs and the Biggest Loser Power Sculpt. I like the workouts, but I'd like a DVD that targeted just the abs/core. Any suggestions? Thanks!
The 200 situps program is pretty good. Not sure if I'll get a sexy six pack, but the workouts progress (read: get harder) at a reasonable rate.
I know the Gazelle's has been ab for lifein'!
Now that my stomach muscles are somewhat healed from my coughing spasms...I've started the new 15 minute ab plan from Runner's World. I can only hope to look half as good as LoLo Jones!
Hehe!
Stay tuned...I've been bloated this week thanks to hormones, so am avoiding the scale/measuring tape, but am feeling pretty good about the Abs Diet so far in terms of do-ability.
Yup, I've been doing my Skinny Bitch workout. I scoffed at it once I started it thinking they were kinda wimpy, then lo and behold woke up the next morning SORE! So that's where the 'bitch' part comes in to play, because I definitely was!
Will email you a more detailed update tonight!
this gilr is a bit sore, man Jillian is kicking my ass!!! My abs aren't as sore as my arms, but I am sure they are getting a workout. I am on level 2 now so we shall see how that goes!
I am just (today) starting week 2 of the Abs for Life diet & workout.
The diet is the easy part - it's kinda South Beach Phase II (in other words, the way I usually eat, anyways).
The ab stuff is not so hard, either, but the other stuff is hard - I'm not seeing a difference yet, but it has only been one week.
I haven't started the diet phase yet. I just go my ABS diet book on Thursday, so I supplemented 3 days of "30 day shred" got up to Level III and some runs. I just started the actual diet today. I was extremely sore on Saturday after the level III workout.
I switched to using the ab slider instead of a "nonplan". So far so good, but my diet needs to change asap, otherwise you'll be seeing flabby ab rolls despite the usage of the ab roller!
I've been doing the yoga 3x per week as promised. I just posted about the yoga dvd's that i'm using (although not specifically about ab strength). I think I'm going to have measurable progress in ab strength at the end of this!
I need to get some ab work in. I have been very lazy about it.
OK, I did the Runner's World ab workout 3x last week and trying to decide whether to do my first workout on Monday or Tuesday this week. I'm posting my progress on http://run45.sweat365.com (the post titles will say "Fast Abs").
OOOOIii.. my 6 pack is looking good. Oh yea!! Lady in childbirth video said it takes 6 months to get abs back.
All right so I have been eating MOSTLY clean for the week and so far so good. I feel GREAT. I have always been one for the veggies but these super veggies are really working well. I am not hungry but it sure does feel like a lot of food prep. I'll keep you posted!
So far, so good! I haven't been as sore as I anticipated so I'll let you know if I decide to change up the workout any.
Oh yeah . . . . I am supposed to be doing a workout! I will get right on that. . . .oops!
